Missed my F-ing Deadline, Have some Previews! · 8:05pm Jul 30th, 2012
Okay. I'm a little ticked off. I said I was gonna get Chapter 5 of A Tale of Two Nations out by Sunday, July 29th, I apparantly didn't, all because I couldn't get myself to write it. I'm really starting to hate this chapter because it's preventing me from getting to any of the extremely good parts of the story I wanna tell, and I can't get myself to finish it because I hate it so much.
Anyway, I didn't keep up with my word so to make up for that I want to do something for all of my dedicated readers out there. I wanna show you all that I have indeed been working on Chapter 5, as well as a few other short stories I started but haven't quite finished yet. I really want to share my stories with you guys, and I want to make up for not keeping with my schedule by showing you what all I have so far.
Below are the links to three short stories I'm working on with one of them being about Quills, plus what I just got down last night for Ch. 5 of A Tale Of Two Nations. I'm also going to finally post something again about my Con Mane story, now while I don't have much, I'm definitely excited to write some more once I pick up inspiration for it again. Hope you guys like them, and remember, they're WORKS IN PROGRESS, so of course they'll be a complete mess and not have much at all. Thanks, and enjoy!
A Tale of Two Nations Chapter 5 - The Burdens We Carry
Okay, I'm happy to finally reveal something from my Con Mane series. Two things though, this has next to nothing in it, but I know exactly where the intro is going to go, as well as the setting and the basic gist of the plot, just not the rest of the story. Secondly, this story does NOT have a name yet. I want to come up with a James Bond/Ian Fleming-esque sorta name with an MLP twist to it, and I'm thinking of calling the series the Con Mane Missions. You guys are welcome to throw suggestions out there and it'd be highly appreciated!
This is a short story involving a dream about Rainbow Dash, and it's an experiment with using heavy doses of symbolism, and this story is meant to be open to interpretation. It needs a lot of re-work though.
Another semi-sequel to my fans' growing favorite protagonist Quills. This is a story about friends sticking up for you when you're in fear, doubt, or pain, no matter what.
There's next to nothing in this, but what it's eventually going to be all about is Scootaloo trying to deal with Rainbow Dash hating her after ruining her reputation in the Ponyville Confidential episode, driving her toward the breaking point of guilt.
Anyway, that's all guys, and I hope you like them. Feel free to leave comments here or on the Google Docs page, I'll try to update them as soon as I can get my darn brain working again. Thanks for reading, keeping me supported, etc etc, peace out!
