Terrible, You See
I can't believe it's happened,
it's terrible, you see!
I've lost my best friend Dexter,
why'd this happen to me?
He was just so sweet,
so caring and so kind.
Across the Rainbow Bridge he went,
and he left me behind.
I can't believe it's happened,
it's terrible, you see!
I've lost my best friend Middas,
why'd this happen to me?
He was just so large,
so funny and so young.
If we'd had a funeral,
I surely would've sung.
But now I've got Harley,
and my wounds he did mend.
It will be so sad
when HIS life has to end.
now I'd like to add this to the poem:
Now along side Harley,
we've got his puppies.
Once we loose them,
I'll be brought to my knees.
