Sure, Aqua Marina went on vacation, the six mares finished another year of school, and Peni's father passed away, but otherwise, nothing.
Now, Celestia has called Spirals up to Canterlot for a few days, and it seems rather important. But when Spirals gets there, the story her mother tells is not what she imagined.
