I've been having the strangest dreams lately... · 3:50pm Jul 9th, 2015
...and I don't know why. But the one last night was the strangest. Perhaps it's the stress (things have been very uncertain as of late, which is why I haven't been writing as much as I would like). Perhaps it's what I've been eating. Could exercise cause weird dreams?
Well, I just had the weirdest dream ever last night, and it didn't involve Goro from Mortal Kombat eating my pet hamster.
So, to start it off, I was Scout from TF2. Red team. We're all on an island collecting gold bars. The announcer lady was there, but she wasn't in character, she acted more like my old manager at my first part time job. Anyway, she disappears and we all (the red team) end up killing each other over the gold. No one survives.
Then, some time later, my latest ex (quite a manipulative woman who had me in quite a poisonous relationship, no joke) came to the island and lifted up a tree and found me there. I come back to life and she complains that she wants to get off the island. So we use the gold and get an airplane to get back to the mainland (which is in swimming distance 'cuz dream logic).
We fly over and decide to walk from the plane to customs instead of taking a bus. The path of which goes over a ridge about 6 feet high above sea level. And of course, it's all in walking distance (dream logic). While me and my ex walk, one of the buses swerves out of control in front of us and falls into the ocean. People are screaming and drowning as the bus sinks. I'm freaking out and trying to pull as many people out of the ocean as I can. My ex, who is now holding a small cage with a brown chihuahua, says that she'll meet me in customs and leaves me to saving people. She then gets in line.
I'm frantically saving as many lives as I can, but the last woman gave me a small cage containing a white chihuahua before she disappeared under the water. I take the chihuahua through customs and am quite ferocious in guarding the little thing, even getting into a fight with security to make sure I keep it so I can take care of it.
Then customs separates people by citizenship status and me and my ex end up on different sides of the room.
I forget what happens after that.
Was I remembering when me and that ex went to Guam together? There were certainly no chihuahuas involved. But I do have a pet chihuahua back at my parents' place. She is a sweetie!
Perhaps I have truly lost my marbles!
