Similar to NaNoWriMo, NaPoWriMo is a month long event, starting August 1st at 12:01am, in which the goal is to write 50k words. I think I'll be participating unofficially. I don't think I could manage the 100k words my story is calling for at the moment, but I think getting 50k done would be a worthwhile pursuit. I've also kinda started already. There is that.
I do encourage you all to take part, even if you're unsure if you'll finish. We could always use more fanfics around!

I have three fics going on at the same time. Perhaps I shall reach that. Perhaps I shall reach that rather easily, actually.
I know shortskirtsandexplosions could reach it in like, two days, so... is it that hard?

Heh, yeah. Shortskirts writes absurdly fast. I don't think I could ever hope to write near as fast as he does and still have some semblance of a life left.
