So... a little girl who dressed up as Elsa gets picked on by this racist jerk of a mother, and her two daughters who sadly are following in her footsteps. Some would say this is a story about how humans ARE bastards... i would disagree. Some humans? yes... ignorant pieces of trash... But look at the support and the love that has rallied around this little girl! This is what America looks like at its best, in my opinion...
My mother always taught me that the USA was different because we valued every single human life. That when a single child in a distant state would get trapped in a well, the whole of the nation would stay glued to the story hoping and praying and wishing the best for the child, sending support letters, and money to help with medical bills or any other expenses. The USA as my mother taught me when i was young, is the one country in the world (probably not true... but still a good thought), that would go to WAR over a single person being mistreated, murdered, or abused and justice not being served.
America (and i would say most of the western world) has a very strong moral center, even if some of our leaders choose not to see it, or to exercise it out of political expediency. And here, i would argue, is proof.
