My apology to the Equestria Daily pre-readers · 1:10pm Jul 23rd, 2012
OK, so as most of you reading this will know I recently had a rejection from Equestria Daily. Well...I kind of blew a gasket on it and I just wanted to apologise to the Equestria Daily Pre-Readers who took the time to read over my fic and to point out where I went wrong. I know I am not the first person to ever be rejected by EqD and I am certainly not the last. I won't hide behind the excuse that I spent months working on An Old Timers Tale because EVERYONE who applies to get onto Equestria Daily spends months working on their stories. I hope that you can all accept my apology and I can assure you that nothing like this will ever happen again. I truly am very sorry for my outburst and while I don't expect many of the pre-readers to see this (I am aware of how busy your schedules are, and I doubt that looking at the blog of some insignificant author on FIMFiction would ever take priority over selecting which fics to submit and which not to) I just want them to know that I am really very sorry for what I said.
That is all.
"everyone who applies... spends months working on..."
I spent ma-a-aybe ten hours total working on the first two chapters of "Lament of a Spoon"... if I was generous with myself time-wise... and twenty to thirty for the whole story...
I guess I got lucky.

I doubt it. It may simply be stuff they don't like, for whatever reason. I can't speak for them, but if I were in charge I wouldn't allow any more gore than 4kids would show in an anime.
As an example...
Apology accepted.
Here, have a picture of Nicolas Cage. He makes everything better:

We'll be looking forward to your next submission.
