    Slowly getting Better

Just a quick update on how I'm doing. That one night I wrote my last blog was awful, and I can say, without joking, that I genuinly thought I was gonna die. I felt like my body was tearing itself apart. Luckily, I'm feeling better now. Not good, but better. Fortunately, I didn't have to go to the hospital, and I stopped coughing blood eventually. Today I'm better. Completely exhausted and

    Still sick, Gotten worse

It's close to six in the morning as of me writing this and once again, I've not slept a single minute. My throat feels like it's mince meat, my ribs feel like they are about to explode, my whole body aches, sweat keeps pouring all night. I can't lay down and go to sleep, 'cause of the coughing. It's so bad that I've almost thrown up multiple times tonight, and I've been coughing blood due to my

    Got a Cold

My sister came here on Monday of Easter week, and planned on going back home after the holiday. Instead, she caught a nasty cold, so she's still here. And of course, it spread to me, and I'm on my third day of sickness now. It's just a simple cold, but it's still not very fun. I've hardly slept more than a few hours a night, and I feel like complete shit. It's astounding to me how something so

    A day I'll never forget

I've said it before and I'll say it again: April first brings out bad memories for me. I've written about this many times here, and now I'm doing it again, for my newer followers. I hope no one thinks this is an April Fools joke, 'cuz it's not, it's very real and painful. Well, not physically painful; not anymore, but psychologically.

The White Wolf has come... · 10:01am Jun 15th, 2015

Some of you may have noticed that I haven't been all here lately, so to speak. Haven't written anything for a long while, haven't talked to others and so on.

The reason is pretty simple. I got myself an Xbox One and Wild Hunt. Been stuck in that damn game ever since. It is, beyond any doubt, my absolute favorite fantasy game since Oblivion, as well as pretty high up on my list of favorite games of all time. I can't remember the last time I was so absorbed in a game and its world and characters, everything about it is just amazing. It is also the most gorgeous game I've ever seen, and I'm not one to care much about graphics. Hell, Two Worlds 1 and 2 had terrible graphics and.. pretty much terrible everything, but I still had a lot of fun with them. Either way, The Witcher 3 is stunning and packed to the brim with details everywhere you look.

Now, the prior game called Assassins of Kings was a great game too, and I enjoyed that as well once I managed to get into it(which took a bit too long, I think.), but there was one thing that bugged me all throughout that game; I wasn't a huge fan of Geralt. Which was a shame for me, since he's great in the books, but in Assassins of Kings, I thought he was just.. well, silly. IN Wild Hunt though, that's changed, and I want to say that he's been redeemed in my mind and turned into one of the greatest characters I've seen in years. Aside from him, I'm really happy that Triss came back and how her story with Geralt played out. Zoltan, Dandelion, Yennefer and Ciri; all of them great characters, written and acted at equally high level. I was particularly impressed by Zoltan's voice actor.

Because of the fact that Geralt's friends are all better and more alive in this game than ever, I felt it much easier to care about them, and some of the choices I had to make really got to me. One, for instance, involved Geralt and Yennefer and a shipwreck sliced in half by magic. I won't spoil what happened, but the choice that took place at the end of that situation was probably the hardest choice I've ever made in a game, since I cared so much about both of them, and some previous choices altered the eventual outcome of this one. I'f you've played it, you know what I'm talking about.

Obviously I'm not a professional reviewer, but in my opinion, Wild Hunt is a must-buy and definitively an early contender for GOTY.

Apart from that, I've been in the mood to write a zombie-fic lately, because when I took a pause from Wild Hunt and played through the Resident Evil REmaster again, I remembered just how much I love the old RE-games, and it really made me want to write about zombies and creepy mansions and all that.. Speaking of, a remaster of Resident Evil Zero is set for next year! Yay!
