whaaaaaaaat! Xai's not dead?
yeah sorry I hadn't gotten around to uploading the short story I wrote a little while ago until now. in addition, I also have posted a complete rewrite to chapter 1 of Cloudburst!
Please check that out as soon as you can! it's vastly improved with much better formatting and descriptiveness, better vocabulary and has a lot more feeling and colour in it than the original. I may do the same with my other chapters at some point but no guarantees.
So also, point number two: I'm going on holiday shortly. with any luck I'll get myself to do some writing then. I like writing on my phone when I'm away.
If only I had my old mini pro with it's flip out keyboard and not the piece of junk Xperia SP I have now. but I'll make do.
I loved writing cloudburst but it's been so hard lately to get motivated to do it. I need to go back and find the initial inspiration I had to write it in the first place. to really delve in and think about what's happening with the story and rewrite the whole outline. I also actually did write the first chapter to my Pinkie and Lexis story. yeah the actual non-clop one xD but i'm having reservations about it.
reason being; I really liked the idea of writing the whole story in 1st person perspective from LExis because the whole point is it's his diary that he writes throughout the whole thing. but I do really like how I wrote most parts of the first chapter and I feel a 3rd person perspective is much more fitting. I got some nice descriptiveness in that would be lost in 1st person. but it would work soooo much better with the theme of the story and I just feel it would be so much more interesting to read. and probably more fun to write too.
So maybe I should go back and rewrite the 1st chapter in this way? it would mean also committing the whole story to pretty much only what lexis is doing with a few odd chapters written by Pinkie from her perspective instead lol.
oh and then there's also Pinkie's appearances in Cloudburst that'll happen down the line.
