If you or anyone you know is contemplating college or is going through it, there is a better way. It's like an apprenticeship, where you accumulate working experience, instead of college debt. It's called Praxis. Check it out in the following link and watch the following interview about it.

Why do we need friends? · 1:29am Jun 10th, 2015

I'm trying to come up with the best argument for the title question. Maybe some of you can offer your two cent worth?

I..................DON'T........................KNOW

We need people who we care about preserving a relationship with outside our families because it teaches us about kindness and other positive traits that will make our relationships with others more harmonious...I mean, families kind of love unconditionally and you don't have to work as hard to maintain relationships with them because we grow up with them.
Other than that, I think we need friends for the same reasons we need family. But I won't pretend I have all the answers. :raritywink:

Why do we need friends? I myself have asked this question and I believe I have found the answer. We need friends because they can help you when you are going through hard times. And its also good to share a laugh and make your heart merry every once in awhile.

Friends are for support, it is not good for man to be alone. A friend loves at all times, but a brother is born for adversity. Friends are for fun, joy, tears, help, and for when nobody else has an answer. Friends can either help us stay on the straight and narrow, or can lead us into the darkest of things.
