So, I took a drawing someone else drew, and I recolored it pretty much. It's not my original work as far as the concept and base design of the drawing goes; that honor goes to enigmaticfrustration. I only did the coloring and shading. Hope you like it. Of course, constructive criticism is always welcome.

It looks really awesome, I don't think there is much wrong with it at all.
I think the only way this could have been improved is if the you draw the hooves a little flatter. At the moment they don't seem to be reacting with the ground so it looks like there floating. The colours look great though.
3119588 Yeah, I will definitely work on that. Thanks for that tip! I have been working on just spotting the colors from the color wheel rather than just using already given colors for said ponies. It's a little hard for me being color blind and everything, but it's good practice.

3119714 Yeah. Technically color deficient by medical standards. I can see colors, but they don't always appear the same when I look at them, and it's worse when they are close to similar shades.

lol yes. There will be more like that to come. Technically I was working on my own, and I did the coloration without his technical approval or even notifying him of such an action. At least a credited him for his work, as it was his idea, and I simply colored it. There will be more drawings like that to come, but right now, I am working on another image to practice my perspective skills. We will see (maybe in a month lol) what the results of that drawing will be.

You've definitely gotten better at art, and you've seemed to take a liking to it. It's cool cuz you're adding more to this community with pictures, rather than stories, and you appear to like art more than literature (even though they're both in the same category, but a different branch). I hope to contribute as well someday with music. However until then, I'll be fine with what the fans bring up, such as yourself.

I love both very much. I just have taken a big interest in drawing right now, and it has become my best way to relieve stress from work, which is sad that I'm getting stressed already from it. In the mean time, I still have several stories I would like to get back to, but I am busy drawing and reading Twinkie Pie stories; I plan to read them all. I'm sure when you get the chance you will make a magnificent contribution to the fandom with your musical ear and fingers.
Oh okay. I didn't think helping out with surgeries was too stressful, but I can imagine big navy itself is annoying and difficult to deal with. I'll tell you, green side navy is a bitch and a half to deal with cuz of the new rules and regs the marines have set, but I still have to follow them cuz I'm stationed with them. Being 8404 isn't all that great, it's just really prideful. I hope everything gets better with time, for us both. Hey, at least you promote soon. Next month, you'll be a salty little HN. Lol
