Did you know that it's difficult, trying to put purpose into words where you have both no audience of which to speak and the possibility for anyone to read? Because it is. Difficult, I mean. Anxiety sucks. It is for this reason that I preface this chunk of text with such an incidental prelude as this.
Now that that is out of the way, I present for you the actual reason for this blog post's existence: a quaint embedded link to a youtube video! Wow, how exciting! I know, I know... Allow me to explain. For fun and portfolio-building, I received permission from Device Heretic to do an audio recording of his short piece Thunderstruck. After far too long a time dawdling, I completed recording and editing the 3 kiloword document into a twenty-odd minute audio clip. In retrospect, promising no edits whatsoever at the beginning of the project might not have been a brilliant idea, but at least it's an unabridged recording. (This may leave me the freedom to revise it in the future.... Who knows!)
So, with that bit of inane verbiage dispensed, all that's left is the promised link for you to follow. Or not, I wouldn't blame you.
Let's Listen to: Thunderstruck
Feedback is greatly appreciated!
Hey, hey! Awesome sounding reading. You did a real good job with this one!

Why, thank you! There are some things that still bug me about it (audio quality fitting of a $20 microphone, some odd inflections, overdone 'sky was hers' section, etc), but if others are willing to tell me I did well, who am I to complain loudly? Thank you again for the words, kudos that they're kind!
