Upset with Hasbro

Since "Bloom and Gloom" came out I have been meaning to get on and delete "Canterlot Crusaders." Thanks for ruining the one Fan Fic I actually had more mateial for Hasbro! >:(

Why do you have to delete it just because Hasbro decided to make an episode where Babs got her cutie mark (I'm assuming that's why you're upset with the episode). The story from that episode isn't really like Canterlot Crusaders at all past that point. It's just one small detail that coincides between the two, but leads into two different plots that don't resemble each other. I think you should continue writing the story if you enjoy it. Who cares if the cannon disagrees with it anymore. I've read a bunch of great fics that became non-canonical as new seasons came up. One of my favorite stories of all time can no longer be cannon because of what happened in the first 2 episodes of season 4, but I still love it anyway. I've found that as both a FiMFiction reader and a FiMFiction writer you've got to just accept that things are going to continue to progress in the cannon universe, and may eventually come to contradict or agree with your story, but it doesn't make what you've written any less relevant. I'll admit, I actually thought of Canterlot Crusaders when I saw Bloom and Gloom, and thought of how it was pretty neat that you'd actually managed to predict something that occurred in Season 5 ahead of time. Anyway, I'll stop dawdling now. At the end of the day it's up to you to keep your story up or not, but I'd say that if you're really invested in it then don't just give it up because it contradicts the cannon now.

I'm not exactly "Upset" with the episode, it was one of my favorites so far.

Actually, I don't have any more material but I do think I will keep it up with a note saying that it was made right before season 5. The Irony and disbelief that people will find in it! XD
