Pippington Britishhooves

Those who can read and write hold the key to knowledge and the process of thought. For some reason, I have chosen to use this gift to write about fictional cartoon ponies instead of important stuff.

    Happy Decennary MLP!

On Sunday 10th October 2010, the first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship of Magic was aired. The target audience was exactly as you'd expect; little children and preteen girls, as well as perhaps any family watching the TV with them. It was, on the surface, nothing out of the ordinary, just another cartoon to entertain children in a format that appealed to their normal sensibilities, make a

Guess who’s back? Back again. Pippy’s back; tell a friend.

Let me start of by saying to all my followers and the like; I am so sorry I haven't been updating anything recently. I promised to finish a chapter before 1st January 2017, and we are now nearly half way through 2017. I have failed you, and failed myself. The reasons for this are basically that studies are persistently prodding at me, life responsibilities are prodding at me, the former two are

A blog to give hope to those who are assuming that I have died at some point

I feel like writing a blog, and this seems as good a time as any. I want to pass along information on my stories for all those who are interested, and general info for those who wish I wasn't such a lazy [insert expletive here]. Therefore, I shall do both, starting with my information on stories and such, and then moving onto other stuff.

    Amnesia: I need characters

    *Lore intensifies*

So, if you've played either of the Amnesia games, you'll know a bit about the story and how dark its world is. If not, read on to find out. Either way, I'd like to add extras into my adaptation.

A blog to give hope to those who are assuming that I have died at some point · 3:43am May 7th, 2015

I am, in essence, not bothering with My Little Skyrim, only updating it sporadically when I feel in a fantasy sort of mood. It may (will) be updated, but don't count on it (being an immediate priority).

Generations will be receiving an update at some point in the near future (meaning within this century), so look out for that.

Little Amnesia: My Dark Descent has re-captivated my interest as of late, meaning that it will probably be updated at some point (after my immediate projects).

Dragonfire is just something that I want to dedicate all my time to right now, but I can't because a) laziness, b) my other stories, and c) my exams and general life commitments, which I will explain further in a minute.

I have two other stories which I have started, one of which is a tragedy which has been in the works for a long time (I am equally proud and ashamed to admit that it is a catharsis for the emotions I experienced during my teenage years, and as such I will work on when I am either upset or extremely motivated), and the other being a side story to Generations, the identity of which will be instantaneously obvious once I release the next chapter of said story (it may take some time, so I ask you to be patient). I have another story planned which I haven't started yet, but I should get around to it at some point.

Moving on, I want to give my fans (I know I have a few, although not a lot, and I am grateful for that which I have) an update on their weirdo writer's status. These individuals appreciate different works of mine, I understand, but ultimately you like my writing (I hope). I want to assure each and every one of you that I am still active and writing, but that there are some snags. I am sorry for this.

I am a freshers student (first year) at university, and as such, I am coming up to my exams. My priority at the moment is to pass my exams, and so I am dedicating my time to studying and revising for said exams. This comes at the cost of my stories, and I am deeply sorry for that. I haven't forgotten, given up, or grown detached from then. Indeed, oftentimes I wish I were writing the next chapter of Dragonfire and Spike's adventures through space, or Diamond's treacherous journey through Castle Everfree in order to thwart the dastardly Steelheart while I should be reading up on my exam subjects, but basic necessity demands I follow through on my studies. On top of that, I have some other commitments to deal with, which require some careful planning and time-consuming effort. These are both professional and personal, and both are important to me.

I promise that I shall update my fics ASAP, but I urge you to hold on. Be brave like Diamond, be determined like Spike, be loyal like Dawnfire, and hold fast for me to provide you with the succulent stories you desire (or, y'know, the stories you occasionally read in your spare time because I provide the best of a bad bunch and you're too lazy to search for anything better on fimfiction).

In sincerity, I thank everyone for their support, even if it is just a like on a story of mine. I know I might not have the fanbase of the great Chuckfinley (I like to think that if I say his name enough, he'll appear :pinkiehappy: ) or such great writers, but I still appreciate every one of you who has given me the time and consideration to read my amateur writing. To all of you, a massive thanks, and have a great year.

As ever, read my previous blogs and donate characters to my stories if you have the time and patience (it would seriously help me), and have a great [insert period of time here]. Thanks guys.

Say it three times in the mirror.

3770378 Holy shit, it actually worked. Forgive the mess, I'd have tidied up if I'd known I'd have visitors.
