Second Thoughts On Tanks For The Memories · 9:47am May 2nd, 2015
So today is Saturday, which means new My Little Pony episode. I've seen the preview for Appleloosa's Most Wanted and I am convinced that this will be the best episode of this season so far. It looks really, really cool, with the CMC going to this creepy caravan and chasing down an awesome criminal. Anyone who says "oh, I want MLP to stay as a slice of life kids show and I don't like cool stuff in it" is a fucking moron. Truth be told, this kind of episode is what I was hoping for in season 5, and I'm glad I'm finally starting to get it.
The reason why I'm making this blog is because I've changed my mind about Tanks For The Memories. DQ was right, it's not a very good episode for the continuity reasons as well as the fact that Rainbow was fanderized and the resolution was just crying. I liked it at first because it felt like a classic episode of the original 2 seasons, but I've realized that it wasn't very good as an episode. I'm now going to give it a C-, because it did still remind me of the first 2 seasons quite a bit.
I'll review Appleloosa's Most Wanted after the episode airs. Stay tuned folks.
