Crap has hit the fan, and I might drop off of Fimfiction for a bit. · 4:14am May 2nd, 2015
This is a blog about what's been going on for me the past month, and a little bit about my past year. I am making this blog to let people know that sometimes this kind of crap happens and if in the near future if I drop off of fimfiction for a while this will be the reason why.
Now where to begin? That right there is a question and a half. You see about a year ago, shortly after starting my fimfiction account I was fired from my job at Smiths. It was a very dark period of my life and I found myself unemployed for half a year, barely managing to scrape enough money together to pay rent. Depression, anger, and self loathing it got so bad by the end of it that I was just wanting to end it all, some of the only things that kept me going were all of you who cared enough to read my stories, and the lovely people over at deviantart.
I know that I haven't mentioned this at all, its hard to talk about all this because the memories are still somewhat fresh and they scare the ever living crap out of me. When I got hired again at a new job life slowly turned around and became beautiful again. Sadly it was seasonal work so I have been looking for a new job, but under the context of the job ending naturally I have been doing a lot better emotionally/mentally. So where I stand as of last month is I am currently looking for a new job with only enough money to pay the rent left in my bank.
Now here is where the crazy part occurs. You see the apartment complex I live at was bought by a new owner a few months ago. The new owner was very rude but so long as we paid rent I thought that they were tolerable. Now however it looks like I misjudged humanities capacity for being hurtful.
I live in my apartment with my two other roommates, all of us are single, and all of us are men. At this point we are practically brothers, and its been really nice having them around. Our new landlord however has been evicting people and bringing in religious families. As it turns out our landlord is not renewing our leases, and they only told us through a horribly insulting text about a month ago. So I am going to be forced to move back in with my mom, and boy does that not bode well for me.
We found out just the other day though, from the horses mouth, that our landlord is specifically not renting to us because we our not a traditional family. In fact they thought we were all gay. Two of us our bronies, and out of those two I'm the only one who buys my little pony merchandise, our other roommate is currently divorcing his wife. So I can't help but feel that when our landlord saw my room filled with pony stuff, including my wall which was covered in ponies that I drew myself, that they just assumed that I was gay, or all of us were, and decided to get rid of us. This really sucks, and with the way our landlord has harassed us its been pretty scarring. I'll survive this, but instead of trying to keep all this crap inside like I usually do I decided to actually speak about it somewhere.
There is hope though as I have a really good chance at getting hired for the graveyard shift at a local gas station, and I do actually have a place to crash for a while, despite how much of a war zone it is. So please don't worry too much, I just wanted to get this off my chest. Thanks for taking the time to listen to my problems despite how horribly written this blog is. It's nice knowing that there are people out there that care, even if they don't know you in person. And I do want to say that I'm going to try my best to continue updating as much as I can, even if I lose internet and have to use the local library.

Granted, I don't know where you live but... According to this I don't think the landlord should be able to do this, and it may be a worthwhile notion to take action against him. If he out and out told you he's discriminating against you (even if he is mistaken), that shouldn't be hard.
3036121 we are currently discussing the idea of taking them to court. Because this is completely illegal, but in the meantime we still have to find a place to live.
