How I got my major interests

Ok, if it wasnt obivous, I Luna, and MLP FiM in all its glory. However, I do have 3 other interests in media, and I shall tell you how I got them.

1. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic

I wouldn't be here without this one. I remember it was a Saturday, and I was at a group that I go to after school. It was only my second time there, and we played D&D that day. Our Dungeon Master was wearing a shirt with a yellow pegasus on it AKA Fluttershy. I asked him who it was and then we got into a talk about how he became a brony. Another day I came over to his house and I watched the first two episodes so I could get familiar with the main characters. At the end or part two, I was already very interested. I wondered if there was another episode about our beloved Princess Luna, and you know the title of that episode. When she first came flying into Ponyville with that flashy entrance, I was a littie confused. When she threw off that cloak of hers, which is somehow made out of bats, I was still confused. Then Twilight answered all my questions with two words "Princess Luna".

In my head, I was all like "New design? I Love it, beautiful and totaly badass at the same time!" I was about to go onto another thought, but then she opened her mouth. I laughed so hard I couldn't breath and fell of the couch, really, thats what happened! Oh that royal canterlot voice. For the rest of that episode, I both laughed my heart out and felt bad for Luna in those approximately 25 minuets. I even almost cried when Luna was walking away from Ponyville with head lowered when Twilight stopped her on the bridge. But my favorite part was Luna's first encounter with Fluttershy. Oh man, I can still watch that episode and still lose my breath laughing. I then learned of all the fanfics around Luna, and read many of them here. But I didn't feel I had the writing skills needed to join this site until late last year, and I think I'll be around for a long time.

2. Sonic the Hedgehog.

Ok, this ones kinda odd. So was at a friend's house (not the same guy from earlier, I was much younger) and we had nothing to do. So we decided to play Sonic Adventure 2 on his Dreamcast. I had pretty good time with it (except for those dammed Egg Quarters Sercuriy Beetles I HATE YOU! AND I ALSO HATE YOU MAD SPACE!). Er-hem, yea, I don't like Rouge's stages. But I had a blast with everything else including the multiplayer. Despite some of the plot holes it has I LOVED its story, mostly because of Shadow. Now I'm not saying this game is a gift from god, hence my opinions about Rouge's stages, but its a damn good game.

Later in my life Sonic Heroes came out, and I jumped on it, sense I had an xbox and not a gamecube for reasons I cant understand anymore. I didnt have as much fun with this game as SA2, but it was pretty close. It had a far less serious story then SA2, but I didn't mind, and I was shocked that Shadow was back. I stared with team dark and I thought the team mechanics were pretty cool. I also LOVED to blow crap up with Omega at level 3.
Then I hit the point that made me not like Heroes as much as SA2. The Chaos Emeralds. Wow, those things were hard to collect, and I even had trouble figuring out how to get into the special stages in the first place sense in SA2 you got the chaos emeralds trough the plot without having to work for them. But along the way, there were those fake Eggmans which kept transforming into a spiky guy with red eyes that scared the crap out of me the first time I saw them that looked sort of like Sonic. I thought, "Who the heck is this guy? And why is he posing as Eggman? And damn is his voice creepy"

Spoilers Then when I had all the Chaos Emeralds I was confused about what to do next. (If you don't know getting to the final boss story in Heroes is not very obvious but I found it through trail and error) Then the Chaotix busted into a locked room with the REAL Eggman in it, what the heck again. Then the hole "I AM THE ULTIMATE OVERLORD, METAL SONIC!" thing happened. I was like "Wait, Metal Sonic? So this guy is a evil robot version of Sonic? That's actually pretty cool!" So I beat him with the "REAL SUPERPOWER OF TEAMWORK!" er-hem cheesy line.
