Spring Has Sprung! Let's Talk About Fictional Equines! · 2:18am Apr 15th, 2015
Greetings friends,
I need to get better with my time management. Or maybe stop playing video games! Either way, apologies for anyone who followed me and then immediately thought I died. I didn't! (Monster Hunter 4U has consumed my soul! *insert Button Mash smiley face that still doesn't exist*)
I have been checking the site periodically to see if anyone liked/commented on my stuff. Always nice to see a new fave or a comment now and then! Y'all cubes of sugar make my day!
Down to business! Ponies.
First, I will be plugging away at finishing The Great Crusade to Canterlot. I know it isn't a hit here, but I was having an absolute blast continuing along with my OC's and their misadventures in Equestria. I do have some people patiently waiting for the next chapter. Sorry, guys! I swear I haven't forgotten ya! In the end, as long as I'm having fun I keep writing. Not to mention I invested a good amount of money into my Fox Chase plush. He's looking at me right now... I'm pretty much obligated to finish his part of the story!
Second, Be Mine Tonight was a surprising success! A sequel will be written. I had some vague ideas that are starting to take shape! The world of Mineshaft will be revisited! Huzzah! I do have a title, but with my luck I'll post it and then someone else will use it before me. All you ButtonBelle, SweetieMash, whateveryouwannacallit shippers can rest easy. I knew deep down I'd have to write more about Button. He's a cutie!
Last but certainly not least, I've been itching to write more about Soarin and Spitfire. I see a lot of love for SoarinDash, so I'm going to have to spread the love for anyone who enjoys reading about a grouchy captain and her pie-eating subordinate. This will most likely be my next big project. What can I say? I friggin' love pegasi! This story is going to follow Spitfire's rise to the top of the Bolts! Not sure how long it will be, but I'll probably aim for 13+ chapters. I'm awful at pitching my own stories, so you're better off waiting until I think of an actual bio for it.
Again, thanks so much for all of the support. I don't think people really understand how seeing an extra thumb-up on a story impacts an author's day. I've already had a few rough days at work remedied by "xxxx has been added to xxxx's favorite's list." You stay classy, Ponyville!
TL;DR version
I plan on writing more about cartoon horses because they make me smile.
Now, go forth and multiply... the amount of money in Hasbro's wallet. We need to keep the pony express chugging along for a few more years!
Hoofbumps and noseboops,

Sounds good. I believe I commented saying I don't usually go for romance stories. But hey, I enjoyed 'Be Mine Tonight' so I look forward to hearing more from you. Sure I could nitpick, but I enjoyed it quite a bit so what would be the point, hehe.
Hope to see more from you soon. Keep up the good work.

It's been a good three months. Any luck with that sequel?
