taking a step forward.

So, this is my second blog and I'd like to cover some ground with it. Say a few things. I've been on FimFiction only for a little, well, actually actively that is, but I see this as an opportunity to connect to others in brony community who have the love and talent for the written word in such that they seek out others to collaborate, congratulate and commemorate MLP FIM.

I'd like to not just be another writer, but an author of works, and a member of the community here. Honestly, sit back for a moment and think about how incredible this site is. This is a place for those of creative minds to tell stories about their favorite characters. Not just tell stories, but use your own imagination and get credit for your own work and recognition for the brilliance that is put forth by great minds. When you consider that, this is a magical place.

So I'd like to add my own works, and try my magic here to amaze you guys. Sure, some of my plots might be simple or obvious, but I hope over time of writing and courageously putting myself out there, my writing style may mature to that that others may enjoy my stories and share them with others. Sure I'm just another drop in a full bucket, but I'm hoping that I can cause a few ripples.

It's funny. I worked so hard on stories in the past, but had no audience to share them too, and because of that I let it slip. I hope that making friends and, hopefully, getting some encouragement here will rekindle that flame I had and help me to improve my writings and achieve my ultimate dream of becoming a published author. While I know I can't do that, at least not easily, with mlp fim, I still want to achieve that goal.

So, I hope I can make more friends, learn some things and find my little piece of Equestria here.
