It has been a strange day for me. · 4:50am Jul 13th, 2012
Today has been a great day for me in a pinkie pie way. So I have recently gotten a temporary job as an Concrete finisher apprenticeship. We had just finished making a large batch of concrete and left it last night to dry. We came back to see that someone had stolen about 400 pounds worth of cement. Well naturally the crew was...pissed to say the least. However, I noticed foot prints that didn't match the regular construction boots. Well we followed them to a car that was sagging in the back and two guys in it. Turns out some High school juniors got really high and thought their car was trying to float away and so somehow managed to steal our cement. This event happened at 7:20 am
So this was the start of my day. After another day of work I went to my regular Judo class, turns out our sensi (he is very traditional in teaching) got his ass kicked by a Shalion Kempo fighter. Now I happen to be taught in Shalion Kemo, and he made fun of my fighting stance saying that he could drop anyone who fought Shalion kempo. Needless to say I was internally laughing my ass off. Event time 4:30pm
Then comes my FAVORITE part. If you are strongly religious turn back now. My anthropology class had ended early today (7:40 compare to 8:20) and I had to wait 30 minutes for my bus to show up to go home. So as I wait for my bus writing a new short story (not any of my announced fics, those will be saved for next week.) I got asked to attend a bible discussion at 8pm by a pair of EXTREMELY cute girls. Now I am a Pagan. I have strong Irish/Finish gypsy blood in me, but I respect other cultures. However I was not in the mood to simply smile and say no thank you. Considering that my short story was about God is based on relativity...I was asked 3 different times and each one had a different response. Here are my interactions.
1st time
"Only if it has the old testament."-Me "Excuse me but no one believes in just the old testament anymore"-Girl (blonde)
"Ask the Jewish, like me, about that." ( I get mistaken for being Jewish all the time by the way. Don't know how)
2nd time.
"I don't think I would be welcome."-Me "Why is that?" Girl (short burnett) "I'm pagan"-Me "I'm sorry. I don't know what that is."-Girl. :( "Pagans believed in multiple gods. Like the romans and the greeks. Now you see hundreds of years ago Christianity came over the England and destroyed my religion by killing the people who worshiped it and saying it was evil" ME
"That doesn't sound very christian to me, are you sure that is true? I just can't believe that hundreds of years ago people would kill each other over a simple misunderstanding that there is one god..." (LOLOLOLOLOL)
3rd time
"Move along pure angles and heed me not, For i am a man filled with villianous thoughts." Me
"Wh-what? Are you a poet?" Girl
"I am a poet who the power of words, more venomous and harmful than of a sword."ME
"Well you can talk about your troubles and find peace with god." (I secretly hoped she would say lord) Girl
"While you act with gracious and pure intent, bringing me along will be something to regret." (Notice the 10-10 iambic pantamiter) I am a poet who will never have a poem, a tiger with no taste for brittle bone. I am a wondeful wizard who waltz alone.
"are you saying no?"
And then I came home to find my ex girl friend talking about needing a favor from me...I'm going to leave details out but its certainly been a strange day full of stoners, karma, trolling, girl troubles, and tension relief.
GLAD TO BE BACK GUYS!
A poet who knows the power of words...makes a typo
Holy shit...you have Finnish gypsy blood? You are officially 20% cooler in my book.

Eyyupp. Good ol Sami (original indigenous people of Scandinavia) mixed with gypsy. Unique breed. Only way it could be better if I was Celtic Irish too...or if my grand parents would teach me how to speak Saami...
The ONLY other countries I want to visit are Finland and Sweden, (well, Canada too...but come on, its Canada. I could drive there) mostly because most of the music that comes from that part of the world is amazing.
