Dear readers,
I owe you an apology. I have let you down again in a horrendous way. Its time that I explain my actions:
No, I did not come down with a disease like last time. This was worse than that in my eyes. My work has been attracting some attention lately, thanks to you guys of course, and then a guy came along and messaged me with a new idea for a project he was working on, a new kind of collab work with pokemon fanfiction. I was excited and decided that I would take him up on his offer, think we were all in together, oh how wrong I was…
When we started this project you seemed to truly believe in the roundtable principle. That we were all in this together and we would help each other make the project great. Over time though, that notion was disintergrated and what I feel is the actual truth has now come out. He showed that you do not care about me and the other writers and that he was willing to push unreasonable demands of us whenever the mood took him. Not only that but he stole my character of the collab away from me, told me I wouldn’t write for the main collab. That broke my heart and almost all my enthusiasm left me. From that moment I couldn’t write anything, thinking that I was a failure even when the other writers vehemently defended me. He manipulated us and destroyed any notion that we were a team, it's clear that it is either his way or the highway. The biggest problem though is that your idea of us adding characters for people to write goes against the very point of FAN fiction. it is the duty of writers, not creators, to find entry points for their stories and works, with his vision he was forcing unnecessary work onto us and are squandering everyone's creativity. Considering all this, we decided that all of the writers would abandon the project.
As I said, I felt horrible about my writing after this. I tried to write for POTS but I felt like I had let myself down with this project, the shadow of its failure haunting me. However through the words of the other writers and some wonderful comments from you guys I finally feel like I can back to this. Please note that Mages of the Immortals was co-written by a friend of mine, which is why it came out at all
Again, I cannot apologise enough for letting you all down like this, I am determined to make things right and get back on track with POTS. I will NOT let you down again, only my death will stop me from finishing this story and any other I write here. Thank you for your constant support and look forward to new stuff.
