I haven't been on in a while. Not a good thing, I missed a lot of shitty stories and great moments(flame wars and stuff). I have not written a single thing, not even continued my story, but it seems to have gotten upvoted ALOT, and I am grateful.
What I did the past two months, I think:
Fell in love with a girl full of secrets, and trust issues. She wants to trust someone before being with them, pansexual, and doesn't care about looks.
We have a lot in common, and the friendzone is practically invisible, unlike the other guys who want to be with her to. I seem to be in the lead. She trusts me with a secret she wish no one knew. So I guess I'm close?
Um.. I raided multiple kik chats filled with cloppers and two brony ones.
Oh, I played War Thunder, researched until I got a KV-2, and killed so many people.
Nothings changed, but this site hasn't either, so thats good. I just hope the bad stories are still here, that was what was keeping me smiling and laughing while on this site.
You've missed a lot. Destroyershy96, T1MBUK0N3, the disbanding of The Knights of Something Table, and a whole lot more.
2915410 What happened? Just summarize it all, but more on the Knights thing.
Sounds like glorious terrible things happened.
2916965 The first major conflict arose with a user by the name of TheRealPonyKun. He published the usual cliché story about an Alicorn OC, and there was some something about controlling the seasons of the year. It was never really explained. There was a user in the comments saying that all the "haters" should go burn in hell, so I asked him diplomatically why he liked it. The author thought I was talking to him, and got defensive for no reason. The original commentor responded with a tirade of illogic, bad-mouthing me for showing up in badfic comments section so often. They put up the token resistance, teaming up to take me down. It was rather comical. They eventually got annoying, so I submitted the story to a couple badfic groups. Things escalated, and the author, not wanting to face the crowd he had provoked, deleted all of his stories, his comments section, and his blogs, claiming he would go offline for a month until it all blew over. He came back, however, claiming people's opinion didn't affect him anymore. The first commentor was never heard from again.
Around the same time, a user by the name of Destroyershy96 was busy posting stories. Nothing, harmful, just grammatically deficient. Elric of Melnipony took note, and commented on the story in his usual fashion. Destroyershy, took this as an assault, and went to Elric's page, specifically leaving out parts of their conversation to make Elric look his an asshole in the most pathetic way possible. Things escalated, and Destroyershy started to threaten to "destroy" Elric. Elric blocked him, went to the Rage Reviews group, and posted multiple screenshots of Destroyer's bio, blog, and comments, all claiming that he would one day destroy Elric. Mods took note, and banned Destroyer for a week.
After that, a different user posted a Mixels crossover. A user named La Barata said the user was 9. I replied to this comment, saying that teens and adults didn't have the mental tolerance to enjoy childrens' programming. It took Barata a littke bit to realize the irony. Anyway, the author went to both of our user pages, claiming we were cyber-bullying and attacking us. A couple of our followers saw this, jumped in, and eventually shut the supposed 16-year-old up.
This is where stuff gets good. Before you go further, search for the user T1MBUK0N3. Read his stories. I'll wait.
You done? Good. Pretty harmless, right? However, you'll note that the comments section tells a different story. To quote Fallen Prime, "You're either a troll, or a brick wall." The guy's the most stubborn and arrogant person I've ever met! You may have noted the mass deletion of comments on his Vacation in Kenya story. The story goes that he released the age of his proofreader without her consent. Not only that, but he insulted the staff, and claimed that "they would never know". You should have seen the bloodbath in the comments! It was glorious, and I was right in the think of it. The battle ended with Eldorado editing the leaked info out himself.
After that little excersion, Destroyershy was back with a new agenda: white knight every user whose story was submitted to a badfic group. Not only that, but he used several alts to downvote bomb his critics's stories as well as upvote his stories and the ones belonging to the users he "helped". He was caught by mods, and banned again.
Now for the disbanding of the Knights. It's rather anticlimactic. You were probably expecting some big confrontation with the mods, but it was much quieter than that. After it was revealed that the founder was both Theater Critic and Black Night, every just sort of… left. The group's effectively dead now.
Really, the only thing else to report would be me becoming an official Rage Reviewer and being promoted to Contributor in The Badfic Bin.
2917070 Well, good job on the promotion, and what are the Knights' purpose? I don't really see what they could be.
2917550 That's it: there was no purpose. They were just another hate group, with no specific attribute of badfics in mind.
