Writing and rewriting and rerewriting and it's never good enough! Ahhh!

So I had an idea pop into my head for a rather cruddy little one-off story about Luna and Celestia getting into a fight. And by fight I mean epic battle that bards will sing tales of for hundreds of years to come.

Equestria has bards, right? Right?

Anyway, even though its not a very good premise, I keep demanding perfection of myself in the execution. I've spent hours trying to figure out the right way to put the scene together. I've started over from scratch. I've tried adding more details, edited to show where I was telling... but this poor story still isn't good enough for my liking.

I'm hoping to post it later tonight. We'll see how that goes.
