I Need Your Help · 7:14am Mar 1st, 2015

Yes, I need help. Are you happy? The great Sorcerer pleading on his knees for help. Well I admit it. I need help. With what you may ask? A story. I need someone to write a story for me. You may ask, "But Sorcerer, you write stories all the time! What's different from this one?" The answer is: Its a darkfic. I fail at darkfics. Why do I need it done? It is a vital installment of the Trixieverse. Yes that's the new name. Deal with it. The premise is, Human Trixie is starting to go insane because she somehow is still being affected by the Dazzlings. Later on, she becomes easy prey for Nightmare, who was defeated in the last story. So...does anyone want to write this for me? I don't deserve your help being the horrible, slightly egotistical and selfish writer that I am. But I beg for your help. Chao loyal viewers.

I can't write the entire fic (because I'm neck deep in my own things) but I can offer you an outline you can follow. Think about me as the guard of a door; I can open it, but you have to cross it.

This is an adaption of DC's villain Eclipso, combined with some of my own writing. you can use it or not as you wish.

The story starts with Trixie, having depressive symptoms after loosing the battle of the bands. She resents the Rainbooms for 'cheating' at her eyes, but also is starting to hate herself for letting be manipulated by the Dazzlings. This has made her more distant with others, especially her close friends, Lavender and Fuchsia. Spending less time outside, she spends all her freed time in her room because "there's nothing interesting for me outside".

This cycle of depression ends one day, when a mysterious package appears in her door with only a note attached to it: "from a friend". Inside the package is a black diamond. Trixie doesn't pay too much attention to it, leaving in her nightstand to forget about it.

One night, she hears a voice. She can't place it, but it promises to help her "out of that dark abyss". It also promises her power, power beyond anything ever seen. All that in exchange of a little thing; a piece of her mind. Of course, she reacts negatively and tells the voice to "f*ck off", but the voice counters by listing all the ways her life could improve with its help. The voice explain that it's a shadow, the shadow.

The primordial shadow, created when the Creator said "Let there be light". It embodies all the dark things that can't stand the light, but that also are needed to balance the world. It is that ambition that drove Columbus to America, it is the rage that made the proletarian masses to rise against oppression, the fear that inspired Edgar Allan Poe and the obsession behind Howard Hughes. The Shadow is all drive and no restrain, and it offers Trixie just that; a life without restrains.

Trixie tries to deny it, but that's what she desires. Trixie wants to be unbound, unchained of all the inequities that restrain her. Trixie has ambitions too; she wants to be recognized, to have love, to not be alone, to win at least once. A life with no restrains is basically all of that and even more. Trixie accepts.
