    Progress Report V

Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since the last update here.

Right now I'm putting the finishing touches on the newest chapter of Shining Dash since there is only two or three chapters that will be needed to wrap things up for this particular story-some of it is minor stuff like spellchecking and changing the original chapter title and italicize certain things.

    Progress Report IV

Chapter 33 of Shining Dash is nearly complete, the story is now in the territory of being in the last few chapters-if anyone is interested in having more stories take place this particular continuity feel free to let me know as I've been kicking around a few ideas in my head, but I don't want to spend all of the time and energy writing them if there isn't much interest-I feel like that would be

    CISPA/CISA is Back.

I wouldn't be writing about this on the heels of the TPP blog, but BOTH of these issues can adversely affect the internet and rights for those of us.

The last blog I warned you about the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership), but for those of us in the United States, CISPA has also returned under 'CISA' (The Cybersecurity Information System Act) .

    Trans-Pacific Partnership

Normally I don't like to get involved in political BS, but considering the brutally censorious nature of this thing (since I am heavily anti-censorship) , I've stopped writing to spread awareness of this thing and try to ensure that it doesn't pass.

I've Become Fed up with being a Member of Groups. · 8:40pm Feb 21st, 2015

Recently, a few groups have been spontaneously deleted before new groups with the exact same theme only with a different name appear almost immediately-which, I find odd.

I was also recently saw a group thread about trying to cheer someone up who had become depressed by senseless infighting, only for another user to express their sympathy and desire to help while literally saying "Fuck You" to those who tried to help others a certain way that they didn't agree with.

Of course, this sparked a flame war that went on for at least two pages before I left the group altogether.

The other issue is something that's been a problem with a lot of other groups as well; the lack of direction for those that have a stated goal, but one that is vague enough to be open for misinterpretation and confusion among members-leading to more hostility and drama than usual, which would be fine if any of these were troll groups.

I've also had a few users send me PMs requesting me to join a few groups, so I'm leaving this up to save you time by letting you know that I'm not interested in dealing with this stupid bullshit, anymore.

EDIT: I'm not deleting any of the groups I've made because there are pretty dead for the most part and deleting them would not only be hypocritical, but something I consider to be a "dick move" for those who still enjoy them-even if they're not very active.

I'm sorry for what happened, and I don't blame you for leaving.

It's not your fault, the hostility and hypocrisy from the thread is was the breaking point-nobody can really seem to agree on what the anti-depression group is actually supposed to be; a group solely for those suffering from clinical depression or for everyone who becomes depressed when something bad happens.

That discussion in the same thread also devolved into a flame war between a few other users and the OP when I went back to leave the group, so I feel like I've made the right decision-dealing with unnecessary stress and drama within the group is counterproductive to the whole reason I joined in the first place.

And as I've said, there have been several other groups I've been a part of with similar issues-this is just the one that made my decide I've had enough.

I appreciate your concern and understanding.
