Contest project, day eighteen: Slow day is slow. · 1:24am Feb 19th, 2015
Well, today has been one of those days, when everything got itself locked in place and cold down to the absolute zero. I haven't written any scene, no character backstory, hell! I can't even think in tropes by this point.
My mind is blank, there's nothing inside it, if I where versed in Buddhism instead of Catholicism I could reach nirvana for the state of total nothingness that my mind achieved today.
In fact, if Ryu happened to enter my room right now, he would be green of envy on how I reached the power of Nothing faster than him. Even more, Grant Morrison is now writing Final Crisis's sequel inspired on how the nothingness has absorbed my mind, while the Wachowskis are willing to adapt it into the next Matrix.
So, today I got nothing, just the following set up for the next scene:
Trixie goes to Manehatten and finds out it is a group job; the contractors payed another three mercenaries (Gilda/Bronze Tiger, Flim/Icicle and Flam/Human Flame) to work together with her. She's not happy.
They're on position to attack, in a rooftop next to the building that is Black Mask's headquarters. At first everyone but Trixie argue on how to approach, but Trixie sees Black Mask in a window and takes the shot. Black Mask's mask is bulletproof.
It sounds the alarm and ponies wearing Rocket Red's armors storm over them. At first they try to fight back to no avail. But Gilda recognizes the designs as deer engineering, prepared for extreme heat or cold. Trixie notes the 'or' as a keyword and both instruc Flim and Flam to use their fire and ice weapons to severely damage the armors.
It works well enough, but there are too many so the have to retreat.
