Contest project, day seventeen: Late night work. · 4:11am Feb 18th, 2015
Hey, how's it hanging?
Well, today's progress is Trixie doing a 'lock and load montage' as Sonata gives her the exposition on who is Black Mask. I play a little with the villain's original history, making it a mixture between the Black Mask from the comic War Games and the movie Under the Red Hood.
Another key piece of the scene is that we have Trixie's opinion on her relationship with Sonata. Here:
Deadshot #1: (Not) Bulletproof

Also, I realized I'm doing something very unique here. You see, through years, since John Ostrander's Suicide Squad to our date, every single appearance of Deadshot is from an external point. Even in his two miniseries, there is not a point of view oh Floyd's thinking. Only a single page in Gail Simone's Secret Six under the influence of deadly poison (he got better).
So, this fic, narrated in first person (half Frank Miller, half JB von Herb) is the first fiction where Deadshot's thought are exposed. I don't know if this is good or bad, so I'll let the critics and readers decide once when this fic is published.
Waiting opinions. See ya.
Damn I'm honestly digging the idea of this story more and more. I'm more of a Marvel man myself but I fucks with DC. Keep up the good work. I leave with this for the lolz..
