Field Report: Uncrossing

Tonight for the first time I did an uncrossing ritual following Bro. Moloch's methods You can find the ritual here. I didn't have the any of the tools called for so I improvised checking every step using Astragals to make sure I was on track as I tossed this ritual together.

The candles where easy enough I try to always have a supply of white tea lights on hand so I pulled out four of those and set out on my alter.

Next part was the oil easy enough I substituted my Abramelin oil (am I the only one that first pronounced and read it as Abra Merlin btw?)

Finally before starting the ritual I cleansed myself in the Shinto tradition in my rest room at the sink washing hands, face and my mouth and reciting the prayer for complete purification from Shinto Norito as Ann Llewellyn Evans translates it you can buy a copy from Amazon here. Technically your suppose to take a full on shower or better yet a bath. But due to roommates and the time I felt compelled to do this my landlord and roommate where asleep as I couldn't risk waking them.

Beyond this I followed this simple ritual to the letter.

I felt, and still feel,charged up from the experience. I have a feeling of being full of energy and oddly very clean as if I just took a shower and had just had a good nights rest.

At the end of the ritual I stood there in what Druid's call the Awen position (arms 45 degrees from body) and I could 'see' black gunk just falling off my arms or being burned up blue energy circling my body burning away more black gunk and feeling in holes inside of me.

I'll be doing this for six more nights and see what the results are further down the road in my life.
