Contest project, day fifteen: A cold open and main premise for the first chapter. · 2:43am Feb 16th, 2015

Longest tittle so far.

Okay, first of all, here's the final version of the prologue:
Prologue: Secret Origins

Secondly, I have this cold open for the second chapter:
Chapter 1: (Not) Bulletproof
(The password for both is "boom_headshot")

And this premise.

Trixie is Deadshot, the second best killer in all of Equus and the deadliest mare with a gun. But, for what good is a guns against a target who is immune to bullets?
When a new client comes with a job that maybe not even Trixie can take, what will she do?

So, going back to the prompt about impossible things, I'll put the natural enemy of every sniper; someone who cant be brought down with bullets.

Okay, not too natural, but reasonably possible in a world of magic like Equestria.

See ya.

Yeah, you may be wondering who is the target. No one important, just this guy:

Not bulletproof.

He's not really a problem, the problem is his bodyguard:

Provably not bulletproof.

...and the security staff:

Definitely bulletproof.

Hey man you heard about the Suicide Squad movie they making?

Heard about it? Man, I'm over the top out of excitement.

I AM BULLETPROOF! CRY SOME MORE!

But enough with the references. It's good to have a big conflict in which it seems like a no-win scenario. Personally, I have a lot of trouble writing about no-win scenarios so you have my greatest respect for trying that plot. Best of luck. Now if you excuse me, I must go in the "Panic Corner" for ideas again.

You know, considering that your story is about an alternate universe, a non-win scenario would be Trixie being forced to give up her new perfect life or let Nightmare Moon win. I'm thinking about a scene like the one from "For the man who has everything" where Trixie has to say goodbye to all the good friends and even family she has, knowing full well that they're not gonna exist anymore once is all settled.

2801976 Actually I am saving that for the climax. The Ursa is just a warm up.

Uhhhuhuh, now I really want to see that.

2802053 Hence that's where the cover art comes from
