Hello, everyone!
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who's been wanting to read my stories so far, have done so, and makes me wanna write even better with the wonderful comments I receive. I'm sure it's getting old for every reader and author alike to be told how encouraging it is to receive comments, rather than a favorite, but it really makes a difference.
With that said, I apologize for the non-existing updates on 'Home is Where the Heart is'. A bit more than a week ago, I graduated from the Danish equivalent of the American high school, and have been busy with adjusting to no school or seeing friends everyday, which is definitely more tricky than what I originally thought. Besides from that, I also have a job at a local amusement park, selling balloons. It's a fun job, really, and it's nice to see how much kids enjoy the balloons. I have a funny story about a certain work experience, but that's not the point here. I don't know if the odd sensation of no school and just work is the reason, but it seems I have a slight writer's block. :(
I am going on a holiday to Berlin on Tuesday for 5 wonderful days, so I think I'll bring my tiny laptop and try to get started on a new chapter, or just some more story in general. I'm really really sorry that it's been going so slow with the updates, but I hope that this little holiday will make it better.
But! That awesome experience I had at work today... was awesome!
I met some bronies!
As mentioned before, I sell balloons, and I always wonder why we have some really boring balloons, such as cars, motorcycles, and the typical Disney stuff, whereas there is none with Pokémon, Digimon, PowerPuff Girls, or anything of the like. When I showed up today, I noticed a DragonBall Z balloon, and I almost couldn't contain my excitement! Long story short, a girl bought it, and was like:
"You should have some of the new My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic balloons!"
Thus, I met my first brony.
She even gave me this awesome drawing of Pinkie Pie and Discord, as an excuse for taking Kakarot away from me. :( She also said how we got this unicorn balloon, that looks like a girly Shining Armor!
I hope this little story makes it somewhat better that the updates are going slow, and it might take some time before the next chapter shows up.
