On the abscence of pony poetry, and stories with a message in general.

I'm not important.
I am not significant in any way to this community.

But I have a message.

Look at your stories. Do you see poetry? If you are just about any person on fimfiction you'll say no. Look at them again. Tell me if you see stories with a deep meaning. Only a few more of you will be able to. Look at your stories one last time. Is anything in there important at all?

Be honest. This isn't about how edgy you are. This isn't about awesome explosions. This isn't about crackfics. This is about message. Is there anything with a good message? If you answered yes, you could be a poet. Poetry is all about messages, and the way you convey them. Every good writer conveys a message. Do you?

Words are unimportant.
Words are not significant in any way to the world.

But they have a message.
