Perhaps you are familiar with C.S. Lewis' book, The Four Loves. As its name suggests, it is about the four major types of love that people typically express. The four types of love are: Philia, or friendship, which is defined as love through common interest, Storge, or affection, which is love through familiarity, Eros, or romance, which is a deep love through attraction between two individuals, and Agape, or charity, which is an unconditional, self-sacrificial love, marked by a willingness to give up everything for those you love.
Now perhaps I'm grasping at straws, but here's what I've seen:
Season 1 opener,
Philia
Season 2 opener,
Storge
Season 2 finale,
Eros
Season 4 finale,
Agape
Perhaps it's just coincidence, but it seems to fit. If this is the case, then what will it mean for the next seasons, now that the four loves have been explored? I'm not saying that things are going to go downhill, I just want to know if anyone else has any ideas or theories.
