I just received an email from Hasbro. They have changed the entire plot of Equestria Girls 3 so my story is no longer canon. 
However, they did note me of some changes they have made, so feel free to rant as you wish:
-Rainbow Dash no longer makes a million TMNT references (shame, I enjoyed those!)
-The Dazzlings will not appear (WHAT? 
)
-Flash Sentry will not be a villain.
-Windlash will be removed from the plot entirely.
And that is all.

So Edward Cullen AKA Flash Sentry is not villain which he kind of was one in Rainbow Rocks. I bet the human Twilight Sparkle is the villain and she will be just like Mr. Clipboard

They don't. Viacom International does. They bought the global intellectual rights from Peter Laird (one of the original co-creators of the TMNT) and 4Kids back in 2009 for a cool 60 million.
