First, I'm still not dead. Quiet... yes, but not dead.
I might actually finish the next chapter of APoaDC either this week or next. Not gonna say what's going to happen, but there'll be something. Even now, it's not my favorite chapter and its not going quite as smooth as I'd like, but what are you going to do? Am I right?
Still, it's better than previous renditions.
So about a month ago, I smashed my hand pretty good at work, with a double hairline fracture (one about a third of the way up along the metacarpal of the ring finger on the left hand, and one right at the neck on the same bone, similar to boxer's knuckle). Its feeling much better now, but still pretty sore and stiff. Road to recover has been... boring,
On a totally different side note...
What do you all think of cyberpunk style stories? Have an idea for one that's been teasing me, but I don't think i'll start it until i get APoaDC and Arc Flash both finished.
So... i may have dun goofed up my hand at work on Monday. Next chapter will be a bit slow to come out until the fracture heals enough to type well.
In case anyone's wondering, i smashed it between a 200 pound cart and a steel railing.
Why does everything I love die?
It seems that most of the stories I really liked and wanted to continue reading BEFORE I fell of the face of the internet are now on an undetermined Hiatus or Cancelled.
Many of them were really good too.
Oh, well. Life goes on, I guess.

Yeah, a couple of stories on my favorite lists ended up cancelled too, though the circumstances behind some of them were a bit...morbid.
2719738 I had one of my internet friends pass away doing the cinnamon challenge :L ended up laughing and asphyxiating on the shit, so I know how morbid things can get.
