The Cooldown period you didn't know i was on is officially over!

so after some technical difficulties, some sibling fighting, some birthdays and the end of school high school (I graduated, by the way), and getting the majority of the laziness out of my system, i'm finally able to get back to writing at an above par level! unfortunately, those 'technical difficulties' also included the corruption of a few files for stories i was in the process of

    Anyone else?

I'm not the only one who hates Spike, am I? I don't know why, but anytime i see him on screen or in a fanfic, i feel the urge to reach through the screen and choke him to death.

I'm not the only one with this problem, am I?

    Satisfaction: the unreachable goal

    So writing isn't easy. :pinkiegasp:

Any one who writes will tell you that. But maybe not for the reason you think. It's more than just the occasional bout of writer's block. For some, it's coming up with ideas to think on. For others, it's getting started on a blank page. For others still, it's making sure to stay on track. For me, it's being satisfied with my own work.

What are unicorn Horns made of?

What the heck are unicorn horns made of? Are they just hard cartilage or bone? Or a weird growth only unicorns develop? Unicorns can obviously feel things from it, there have been plenty of examples in the show where they feel pain from it, so there are nerves in there. But they've always been shown to be sturdy and hard, so they're not flesh and blood. They could be bone, but what bone is the

I don't mean just making sure everything is spelled correctly or isn't a grammatical train wreck, i mean being able to step back and look at what I've written and say " it's ready to be put up." To read through my own piece and not see something else that needs to be changed. To look at my story and not question if everything flows properly. To look at a completed piece and not think "it's missing something." I don't know how big of a problem this is for other writers, but for me, it's what keeps me from posting anything else I've written. I may only have "The one that said "No" up right now, but i have about seven others on my computer that aren't finished yet. At least, finished by MY standards.

I don't know why im writing this in a blog, but maybe it's just to get it out there along with the rest of my work. Every Writer faces a challenge with their work. Some are conquered easily, while others will never be fully resolved. Mine is in the latter, but i'm still working towards posting. i got one out, and others will surely follow. :pinkiehappy:

Though im not sure how i feel about them following a story about Diamond Tiara :applejackunsure:
