I think the saddest and also most frustrating part of coming back to this site on occasion is seeing just how many other authors gave up too. So much potential, never realized. Even worse to see those who never returned, for one reason or another. I'm not even interested in the fandom or the show anymore, but I will always be interested in the stories this site created. And the Gears Grind Down

They slowly grind to a halt, decaying as their dedication gradually erodes. The sun sets on everything eventually, so to the gears finally cease. In their idol, they gradually begin to rust, to fade, to be swept away with time.
Perhaps it was inevitable after all.

Three Years on FimFic: a Reflection

It's both astounding and amazing that I've reached my 3rd anniversary on this site. If you asked me in the summer of 2011, what my interests might involve in the coming years. If you told me one of them would be these pastel colored miniature horses, I would have probably punched you.
