Now I know what you're all thinking.
Why are you making a new story! What about ______! You don't know what I'm thinking! Pickle Barrle! Bet you weren't expecting that!
Okay, so beside the Pickle barrel one, I guess I don't know what you're all thinking.
What this entry is mainly about is with regards to my latest story. I want some opinions on something I find myself debating against.
Should I make this an actual crossover?
I already have it panned out. It would work sort of like the Fate Stay Night anime series goes, with heroes from the Fire Emblem universe being summoned to fight alongside the pony characters.
Although I'm not particularly in favor of this method, I can hardly tie in the Fire Emblem theme to this story. I mean its not even in the F.E. universe or anything.
Or should I keep going as I am now?
If you haven't noticed I'm using ancestral versions of ponies and giving them little (very little) bits of personalities or traits from F.E. games. See if you can recognize em when they come up. (Though remember they'll only slightly resemble them. So there nothing glaringly obvious )
I'm thinking of going with the second choice, but with no actual tie in to the Fire Emblem games I feel wrong using the music in the story. Although I do love how it worked out so far.
As always, if someone reads this give me your opinion.
Oh and one last note...
Pretty soon I'll be releasing a one shot story of Celebrity Deathmatch, with MLP. If you know what that is you know what to expect. If you don't well... Ponies will be [strike]hurt[/strike] killed for the amusement of a large crowd. You've been warned.
Secondly I've been working on it and I think I'll be posting up a MLP Stiens Gate type of story. Haven't seen anyone try it, so I'll give it a shot.
Figure if I don't make something good it'll be a train wreck. And everyone love a good train wreck.
Okay that's enough outta me, I gotta make some more chapters.

Hmm... Crossover or purely thematic. Well there is the middle ground of allusion. That would be interesting for it to go crossover, but the problem is, how to do it right?

Allusion: A literary term that essentially means, "To make reference to another work to strengthen the meaning of your statement.".
What I'm saying is, mayhaps you could have somewhat subtle references to the canon Fire Emblem universe.

Ah, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing with my first idea. Like for example, Pinkamia. Yes she is a little reference to Mia. I will put more from the other games as well.
I think I'll go with my first idea then. Goes better then my second plan since it is too hard to combine the FE world to MLP. That and I would have to stick with just one of the games instead of being able to bring up other characters from the other games.
If you don't know much about the ones that weren't officially released outside of Japan, I can help you with that.
Oh no I know em well. That and I'll research to make sure I get them right.
You'll probably catch some of the other references I put further on as the story continues.
Gonna be going with the way the newest one will play. With partner up attacks, abilities, and such.
That's the one I know the least about (Partly because I don't own a 3DS.). Why are you no longer releasing Fire Emblem games internationally Japan?!
