Hello people (and Stalkers) of the internet! And it is that time of year again where we celebrate Christmas, one of the most popular holidays. And I'm going to try and not put religion into account in this blog so I don't piss off the internet. (Again.)
So, where to begin....? Aha! So, it is Christmas, where most of the world come together in peace and harmony to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. (Sorry) Where we can be together, surrounded by friends and family, and say: "Hey, we are all equal."
And when I think about Christmas, and me being the military buff I am, makes me think of the Christmas Truce of 1914, where Allied and German soldiers clambered out of there trenches, shook hands, And had a nice cup of tea or a game of football. (Europe version, mind you.) And this really makes me have faith in humanity, seeing two enemies, in one of the bloodiest wars of the 1900's share stories, trade supplies or souvenirs, and just have a good time. There were even snowball fights! And it turns out, that the medics used cocaine in their medical operations, so I bet there was some trading of that in the truce. (Drugs are bad, M'kay?) This is honestly something Hollywood should make a movie about, not about some Santa bull. But then I remember that people back then had morals. So now I feel bad. Too bad we can't have this happen these days.
