    OCs for main characters

Am I the only one here that absolutely CAN NOT get into a story with an OC as it's main focus?

I just posted a new story! Yay!

It's been forever since I last posted as story. The last one I posted was Abstratum.

personally, I think the new one is a lot better.

Somber Tone, a very mysterious fic, chronicals the life of Vinyl Scratch through her own voice using a journal that she must write in on account of the doctors supervising her.

I was recently accepted as a proofreader

Not sure if I'll be the best proofer in the world, but it's certainly something I've been known to do. I've gotten pretty far when proofing my own work, and maybe proofing other works would help me realise mistakes in my writings as well. It'll help me to break off from this weird tunnel vision effect writers get on their own fics.

My standards are way too high :\

In lue of my epic defeat at the hands of my own dopple ganger, I've become more self aware of the glaring issues that plague me as a writer. My standards are too high for what I can accomplish. What I want to write is an epic battle themed story with all sorts of cool magic that isn't stupidly over powered like it is in canon. What I don't want to do is use the standard pony models though,

Can we all agree that proof readers are pretty much required?

I find it weird how people can post stories that haven't been thoroughly proof read. It erks me that good stories go to waste due to bad grammar and word choice. characterization issuse, bulky dialog and meaningless fluff. Now, as much as I try to be self aware of these issue, I can't say I'm perfect so I still make mistakes. This means my work is also full of errors. In this case, it'd be great

In this case, it'd be great if I could get a good proof reader to help with such edits. Someone to tell me that my story is shit and here's how to fix it. Especially when you consider the nature of the story at hand.

This is all one big ham way of saying I need someone to help me edit my fanfiction. Applicants simply PM me.
