Supporting Authors · 7:37pm Dec 23rd, 2014
I'm still not dead, I've just been a little busy as of late. I have just finished with exams late last week and right now I'm just *cough!* *cough!* dusting this place out. Jeez, I wasn't expecting this place *cough* to gather so much dust, or spider webs for that matter. Anyways, I'm almost finished with the next chapter of Whispers of the Stars, but I will talk about that in a later blog so in case you were wondering, the story is still not dead. Instead, I thought I'd take some time to celebrate the holidays by supporting a few authors.
SapphireLibra3 - Some of you may know her and some of you may not. I have been drawing cover art for a few of her stories and a few pieces of fan art when I first got my hands on Paint Tool Sai. She is best known for her popular series: "Inner Demons", but she has other great stories such as "Xenochronicle" and "My Little Pony: Elements of Harmony" to name a couple that are in the works. Currently, she is working on a new story called "Persona: Reflection" so be sure to check that out. Also, she now has PATREON; so if you enjoy her stories, I encourage you to help support her if you can.
Nero Darkard - I have supported this author quite a bit and for good reason; his "Maledictum Insania" series is one of the best grimdarks I have ever read on FiMFiction! Everything you thought you knew about the peaceful land of Equestria is a lie, and the Mane 6 are exposed to the dark secrets shrouded by this colorful and happy land. Currently, he is working on the final book in the series "Maledictum Insania 3: Rebellion Years" where the survivors from the prequel are plotting to take back Equestria from the demons and dethrone their leader (whom I will not spoil). Unfortunately, the series is greatly under-appreciated despite its quality and really needs more attention; so if you enjoy grimdark stories, I highly suggest you check this series out if you haven't already.
And last, but definitely not least...
jmj - If you're in the mood for reading frightful, bizarre, and even messed up horror stories, definitely check this guy out. He makes some really good horror stories (a lot better than mine) that will, more often than not, catch you off guard with a twist you wouldn't see coming. This is a guy who knows how to use the elements of horror correctly to get you absorbed in the atmosphere and really leave you on the edge of you seat to the point where you just want to keep reading! So go and read his stories is you're looking for a good psychological scare.
If you like these authors and their stories, go and spread the word about them. These are three great authors who would really appreciate it.
Happy Hearth's Warming Everyone!
