Things that are happening. · 4:50am Dec 21st, 2014
Okay, I return! So here's what up, aside from me being completely distracted by Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart: I have begun work on my new main fanfic project. I'm sure there are a couple people at least who are curious about exactly what's coming next, so here's the info I'm going to give out that aren't spoilers:
1. It's an adventure story, and will be paced a good deal quicker than A Delicate Balance was. Mainly because this time I actually took the time to outline the thing rather than make it up as I go.
2. The primary characters are Spike and Luna. The other ponies will appear, and are important to the plot, but Spike and Luna are the more or less the ones that the story is focused on.
3. I am currently planning for the story's title to be taken from an Edgar Allen Poe poem. No, it is not "The Raven". That would be too easy. You guys can guess what poem it might be in the comments if you so desire.
4. There will not be any shipping. I spent 2 years writing a shipping fic, and I need a break from that.
If you guys have any other questions, feel free to ask, but I reserve the right to be extremely cagey and unhelpful should I choose to answer them.
I can't wait! Although it isn't a shipfic I understand that after a long time of writing a single genre it gets tiring, so I'm glad your going down a different path that you feel is correct. I'm a little worried about the whole 'Spike and Luna' mane characters, but I'm sure you'll make it work. Good luck with the writing!

I bet it's the Cask of Amontillado. Spike's had enough of Luna's shit.
...
Oh, why can't you see? Spike and Luna are just meant for each other!
No shipping? Enough?
There is never enough shipping!
But seriously, looking forward to this.
Drop one single subtle hint of unresolved romantic tension, just one then make it seem that it might almost come up again but it never actually does during all the amazing adventure. It'll drive everyone crazy! :3
2667700 Hey, hey, don't be startin' that.
2667577 I said poem. The Cask of Amontillado is a short story.
