Hello there, who ever you might be! I'm going to split this blog post in two sections, the first being about NaNoWriMo, and the second about my stories!

Section the first: NaNoWriMo.

The question on the minds of the people who knew I was doing the NaNoWriMo (Not a very large number, but still a number) will probably want to know how I did! I'll be blunt; I didn't complete it. But the real question is, how much does this affect me? Surpirsingly enough, the answer is, "Not as much as you'd might think."!

Of course, hypothetical reader, you are probably wondering why that is! And I'll tell you. Simply enough, NaNoWriMo has taught me enough about myself and how I write, that even though I didn't complete it, I came away with valuable knowledge.
Point the first: If you fall behind on something... do not beat yourself up over it! This is very important, trust me. Even if you fall so far behind you can't possibly do it in time... still give it a try!
Point the second: For me, at least, I should make sure I have the entire thing plotted out. "Pantsing" as it is so called can work for a short little one-shot. It does not work for a long story. At the very least, it doesn't work for me. That's why I'm going to be plotting out all of The Derp Note. (More on that later.)
Point the third: WRITE EVERY DAY. I can not stress enough how important this is. I'm sure you've seen lots of writing advice which says this. Trust me, they say this for good reason. Writing everyday is a great habit to get into it, and one you should try and obtain.
Point the fourth: I... can't think of anything else right now. I might edit this later though.

Section Two! My stories.

So, as you can guess, I am officially back! And I've worked on several new stories, and planned out others! So without further ado, here are my comments regarding each of my stories!

Lyra finds a pair of Shades - Unpublished, crossover with Gurren Lagann. You see the sunglasses RD is wearing in my current avatar? Lyra ends up wearing them. She regrets doing so.
The Mare Who went into the Cold - Unpublished, spy story with Octavia as the main character. Reference to the book in name and location only!
Scootaloo's Cardboard Box - Unpublished, but pretty much complete, just need to run it through my pre-readers and it'll be good to go. Not a Scootabuse or Scoota-orphan story.
The Creature - My attempt at writing a horror kind of story. Unpublished.
Alicorns for a Day - It's a surprise! No details for you!
The reflections of Derpy Hooves the Wise. - Short story, set in the AU of the comics. Unpublished.
The Pink Butler - This is... much harder to write than I'd first thought. Not just the concept of Pinkie being a demon, but an Equestria without the two party ponies of Pinkie and Cheese. This is going to tax me.
A Small Talk in the Realm of Darkness - I've had a brilliant idea about this. Be warned.
The Trials and Tribulations of Ponyville's Best (and only) Attorney - Have no plans about this as of right now.
The Derp Note - I have decided for this, I shall be doing an intensive bout of thinking, and plan out all the plot of it! I want to finish it, so that's what I must do! If I can't remember the plot? Why, I'll create a new one! Doing the impossible, that's my motto! That comes of watching too much Gurren Lagann!
