The battle of Syphlis (An Idea based on a game of STA3 I played)

We'll this is a sort of story concept I though up while playing the Star Trek Armada 3 mod (Which if you enjoyed the original 2 games should really take a look at).
I was playing against the Klingon Empire and Romulan Star Empire A.I players on a randomly generated map, so I'm exploring the map with my Novas when I find the Klingon's capital planet which turned out to be.... Equestria!

Of course I started to form a fleet to liberated the planet and It's pony inhabitants, lead by three of the Federations finest ships, Enterprise, Voyager and Defiant , I had intended to begin my offensive once research on regenerative shielding was complete, but the Klingon Empire had other ideas as they sent a fleet containing my worst nightmare.... a Shockwave titan called the Scythe!
I had heard stories about these things , to quote someone of the STA3 forum 'Shockwave comes it, all plans out the window, abandon planet, nothing to see here, were the carriers at.', 'I was on the verge of winning with my OP Federation fleet, Excalibur class leading my full force on the Klingon Capital, I jump in and BOOM! Shockwave happened, all of my ships gone in 1 blast. Tens of thousands of credits and recources gone, which allowed the Klingons to rebuild rapidly and take almost half the star system back, which forced me into a trench war with the Empire, which was not a happy thing, it was grueling and lasted for hours.' unfortunately I had no close enough to help, If the Scythe had gotten to the fleet it could wipe them all out, so I put together all my rearguard ships that happened to be in the position to flank the Shockwave fleet, lead by the Galaxy Class U.S.S. Dauntless, three Excelsiors, three Intrepids, and two Constellations, Taskforce Dauntless attacked the enemy fleet.

Out numbered the taskforce focused on the Scythe.

In the first few minutes if the battle I lost two of my intrepids (U.S.S. Pathfinder and U.S.S. Pegasus)


If ended when the U.S.S. Dauntless took the Scythe head on taking heavy damage in the process, this broke the Klingon's back forcing them to retreat.

After this victory, we moved on to Syphlis.

Long ranged scans showed heavy defenses, In the words of the Klingons, It would be a glorious battle.... but a costly one, but we needed to take the planet in order to attack Equestria, and we judged it to be an acceptable risk, explicitly with Equestrian controlled Sovereign class ship E.S.S. Celestia joining us.

After a few new additions, we attacked.

During the battle a heavily damaged Scimitar warped in and in a act as epic as this

, the small Nova class U.S.S. Applebloom rushed in and destroyed it on its own at the cost of itself.

In the end we were victorious.... but at a heavy cost.

Now that Syphlis belonged to us, we needed to consolidate our forces and reinforce, then.... It was on to Equestria!
