Some guy over on Deviantart made a good point.

He said we should take what we learned in the Hearts and Hooves Day episode and cool it with the shipping.
Ironically, it was in response to a comment I left on a picture from an artist with quite a bit of Spike and Applebloom art. Not that I have a problem with that pairing, it's just that it's so realistic. My mission here is to be 'creative' and have ideas and opinions of my own.

So in honor of that guy, I'll be working pretty hard on a lengthy Spike and Cheerilee shipfic. I want it to be really good, so it may take a while, and I want it to be at least 10k words.

Seriously, this guy totally killed my mood. I mean, he's right but it's not like I'm doing this with people in real life. I'm just presenting the possibility that these characters could go well together.
I could also say that my staying up this late is contributing to how I feel, but sometimes I just can't sleep.
