Holy Horseapples, Hi!

You know, I really missed seeing you on the site, so thanks for coming back!

Anyway, updates for the rest of my followers:
comme toujours, I've been busy with something over the past little (or long) while. You all know the drill; minecraft, pokemon, art, laziness, etc. but recently I've been back into reading thanks to Admiral Biscuit's story, Silver Glow's Journal. It updates daily, so obviously it would be difficult to catch up with, but it's kept me reading at least 5 days a week, and that's something special for me. As for what else has been keeping me from writing, well... It's not writer's block or lack of motivation, it's just that sitting down at my desk to write has always been a lonely task for me and I preferred spending my time doing some other things. Through more recent experiences, I've learned to not have to depend on other people to give so much merit to my actions and achievements (I'm bad at showing that still), and I'm learning important life skills. I finally got a job, a nice relaxed set of hobbies, and even treated myself to some tech goodies that I may share with you in the next few months.

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, which would normally hint that one has given up, but it's just the opposite. Like I said before, it's not a hiatus, it's just an unsteady flow of creativity. Basically, I'll get back into the game when I feel like I have more time alone on my hands. I prefer not to make dozens of blog posts, or at least not spam you all with things you don't particularly want to know about every 3 days, so that's the real reason for the silence.

My youtube channel is still going strong, and I'm up to 9 subscribers, which is a lot for me considering I don't go into these things expecting an audience, and I got back into the world of minecraft thanks to a very close friend of mine running a server for us. We don't always get to play on it as much as we would like, but it's still really great to be able to share that with them.

As for anything productive I've done that I can share with you all, I just have this: That thing I kept mentioning last year about having tons of unfinished and unpublished stories was absolutely true. And while I feel like I can always crank out a new chapter of something I have, I don't feel it would be fair to give you something that I didn't work harder on. I'm not asking you to be patient or anything, just letting you know the honest status of my work. I did mention that having a job would make me feel better about giving myself free time, right? Anyway, one snag I hit in the production of my "big story" was that I didn't bother to finish going back and researching the character I wanted to use and ended up not only being wrong about what history was given for them, but feeling like I had disrespected and insulted the author of the character as well. For that, I'm sorry and I will try very hard in the future to not step on your creative toes. On the bright side of things, I truly feel like that opens a door for me to really tribute the character in my own creative way and continue writing other stories that may not even be published, simply for the sake of writing.

I really love writing.
