More "Captain Sparkle" Info

Yesterday I posted an incomplete character list for the 'verse I'm working on. For those who don't know its mosly appeared in the Twidance Prompt collab, but I am working on standalone story

Today I'm explaining a bit more about the Wonderbolts for the universe. I think it helps people understand my, rather strange, version of Equestria.

As with Canon the 'Bolts were originally found as a military flight team. They soon branched out though and the modern Wonderbolts accept both Civilian and Military members. A military 'Bolt is seconded from their Branch to the Wonderbolts and can, but not often, hold an entirely new rank in the Wonderbolts Military Style Hierarchy. Any Military 'Bolt can be recalled to active duty at anytime Equestria needs them. This as happened to Spitfire Twice, and Soarin an in-determinant amount of times given the classified nature of his job. There have been civilian leaders to the 'Bolts, but it is often one of the Military members that leads. This is more to do with experience in command and the respect most, but not all, citizens hold for the Military, than any elitism. Several celebrated Captains have been Civilian fliers and all 'Bolts respect each other's skills. Those that don't are dropped from the team rather quickly.

Now on another note, for those wondering why I'm doing these posts its two fold. One to explain topics that possibly won't come up in conversation in the stories. I.E. Rainbow, Applejack, Twilight, and most of Equestria knows the "Bolts set up and wouldn't bring it up much. Two, if I don't ever finish writing the stories I want to show some more of the world than the prompts do.
