Random thoughts and first ever question of the day from yours truly · 7:40am Nov 6th, 2014
OK, so I've never actually used the blog portion of this site before, but I'm amped up on sugar, bored out of my skull, and blaring Vinyl's base cannon at 2:20 in the morning, and as such felt it was time to finally do one.
So I had a random thought last night while playing WWE 14. There is one particular shirt belonging to one C.M. Punk that caught my attention due to a certain symbol bearing a striking similarity to the cutie mark of a certain lavender Alicorn that made me wonder: is the Second-City Savior a brony? And then I got to thinking, what if MLP met WWE? I smell a fanfic brewing in the back of my deranged mind...
Anyways, so I'm currently in the planning stages of a fic titled King of Iron Hooves. Sound like a fighting game? Good, cause it'll be a fighting fic. Oh, it'll also be heavily FlutterDash because... I feel like it :p Any ideas for fighters you'd like to see are open to consideration, but maybe I should explain the plot a bit? Ok so here goes.
Dash is Fluttershy's long time girlfriend... who is also in desperate need of a lung transplant in order to live. She's pretty high on the waiting list, but the operation costs an insane amount of money. Tired of watching her lover suffer, and heart broken by the constant sight and sound of their adoptive daughter Scootaloo crying over her beloved mother, she's just about to do anything, even rob a bank if need be, to ensure she can pay for the operation. While going out to purchase Scootaloo something to drink in the hospital, she overhears a patient talking about an upcoming tournament, the King of Iron Hooves fighting tournament. Uninterested at first, but at this point she's desperate enough to try anything, she listens in.
After the patient explains to whoever is in his room, he lets slip the prize for winning. 500,000 bits. Exactly what she needs to pay for the transplant, and the physical therapy Dash would require, and still have some left over for Scootaloo's college fund. Without even thinking, she returns to Scootaloo, they leave, and the next day, she sets about finding out exactly how to enter this tournament.
