My Little Reviews: Fate of the Warchief

The Fate of the Warchief by The Blessed One

Garrosh Hellscream, son of Grommash and warchief of the True Horde, has found himself with few remaining allies left. The cowardly Alliance and those who had dared once referred to themselves as a part of his Horde have come for his head. They will be fighting tooth and nail to see him finally put down, and that's exactly what he wants. Let them come so that he may prove the strength of his people and leave his enemies impaled upon the spires of Orgrimmar!

But it would seem that not all of his Orcish Horde have the faith in his plan that he does. One of his dark shamans comes to him with a peculiar rune which will supposedly transport him someplace else, should things go wrong. Where it will take him, he knows not, but when the Alliance and old Horde prove to be more powerful than he had expected, he is forced to use it lest he lose his head right there and then.

Now he finds himself in an unfamiliar world with no clothes and, more importantly, with no weapons. Will Equestria be prepared for such a hotheaded, proud Orc like Garrosh? Will he be prepared for Equestria?

Just like in the lore, ol' Garry manages to escape the clutches of those goody-two-shoes on Azeroth. However, instead of jumping through time, he jumps through space and finds himself in the middle of Equestria's desert without so much as the clothes on his back.

I don't feel like there's a whole lot I can really say about the story when it comes to criticism as it can be difficult for someone who is a casual writer to do try justice for a character that is as fleshed out and detailed as those from the Warcraft universe. I don't want to call the writing style "amateurish", but it isn't the kind of writing style you'd find in the lore novels. That doesn't mean it isn't some half-assed fanfic, of course.

+/- Likely redemption story (I know many people don't want to see Garrosh redeemed, but some may. Take it as you will.)

- A few forgettable characters on the Bolts teams
- Some may argue that Garrosh goes OOC more than a couple times
