Hey, people. How’s it been? Hope you all had fun on Halloween. As promised, here’s an update on my future works. So this is the busiest semester I’ve ever had in college and my free time almost doesn’t exist. I’m actually squeezing this update into my tight schedule. I’m afraid I won’t be able to work on anything until December when the semester ends. Sorry, guys. To start off, I’d like to announce what my next story is going to be. If you wanna be surprised, stop reading this post now, but keep in mind it might be a long wait before I publish.

Surprise! It’s a fic involving The Queen of Hearts. HOWEVER, it’s not the official sequel, but it is a story that takes place after the original story. The plot is that after being rescued by the roots of Discord’s seeds, Celestia and Luna decide to take a vacation to a private beach house to help relax, taking with them Chrysalis, the Mane 7, Cadance, Shining Armor, and Nymph. The fic will be nowhere as long as The Queen of Hearts with it taking the course of a week, but the chapters will be the usual length. I know plenty of you are dying for the sequel, but that’s going to be an absolute ton of work and God knows how long it’ll take until I’m even ready to write chapter 1. I haven’t thought of what the main plot will involve or how I will even top the climax of the first one. Let’s not forget how much time it took to finish The Queen of Hearts. I’m writing this because this was a fun story idea I got a while ago and thought it would be enjoyable to write, especially since it won’t take nearly as much time. I already have the story outlined, it just needs to be written out. There will be many subplots with the characters, but Chrysalis is still the main focus. Hope you like a silly story of everyone on vacation.

But! And I mean a big but!

There’s more to this story than just comedy. You see, a long time ago while I was in the middle of The Queen of Hearts, I had a story idea. It was a cute little one shot I really wanted to do and actually worked on it quite a bit. It involved a concept that I am a huge fan of and am sad that it seriously does not get enough love in the fandom. Sadly, both college and the need to work on my current fic had it pushed into the back of my mind.

And then at some point I accidently deleted it.

I wanted to rewrite it, but it would be a lot of work to go along with everything else I was doing, so I considered abandoning it. But then, I had the wonderful idea of mixing in the deleted story into this one. It won’t have the same plot, but the general plot concept will be basically the same. I’m happy it will actually get released.

And now for a bigger twist about the vacation story. What could possibly be more shocking than mixing a dead story into this one?

It’s humanized.

Why? Because nude sun bathing is boring with ponies.

Now hold your horses, fellas! Keep in mind it will have a teen rating, so don’t get too excited. I won’t lie that there will be plenty of sexiness, but I won’t go crazy with it.

Speaking of The Queen of Hearts, I still haven’t finished that other bonus chapter I promised and I actually feel really bad about that. Since it will be even longer until I finish it, I might as well throw out a sneak peak.

“This is a bad idea! This is a bad idea!” cried Locust, curled up on the floor.
“You have a better one!?” shouted Mantis. “Thanks to Chrysalis’s colossal failure, our people can’t feed without being caught! Our only options are to make peace or starve!”
“She’s going to burn us all alive. The sun is going to crash down on our heads and we will all be ash!”
Mantis lifted him up and slapped him across the face. “Pull yourself together, you spineless coward! We’re going to make it! Our queen will handle this and everything will be fine!” She looked up at Nymph. “Isn’t that right, Queen Nymph?”
They all looked up at her with pleading eyes and she gulped. Strangely, she could not make herself speak. “I…I…”
You think they’ll make peace? We’re monster in their eyes! I am your only hope to survive and if you dare banish me, it will seal your fate!
“Your highness!” Nymph shook her head and looked at Moth. “You are up to this, aren’t you?”
“O-of course. I have everything under control.”
“I hope you do, because I see her! She’s here! She’s here!” Everyone gasped and crowded around the window, witnessing many pegasi with carriages attached to them approach. Taking a deep breath, Nymph opened the doors of her palace and stepped out with the council members and guards following. However, when the ponies landed, the changelings came to a dead stop. All of the pegasi were equipped with golden plate armor that covered a majority of their bodies with blades attached to their wings and front hooves, making them feel uneasy. Most of the carriages opened and many more ponies appeared, driving fear into the hearts of the changelings.
The earth ponies wore a similar styled armor that covered their entire bodies. On their backs were massive tower shields with spikes on the front and a sheath on the other side that housed a large spear. They each placed their shields down, creating loud thuds that left cracks on the stone ground. The unicorns wore lighter armor, but each carried what appeared to be magic amplifiers on their helmets and were surrounded by a barely visible barrier. Other than the large golden carriage with the sun on it, several other carriages remained closed. However, each of the remaining carriages were large, flat boxes with an emblem of the moon on each.
The armored ponies stood to the sides of the princess’s carriage and Nymph looked at her own guards. All of them shook in terror with most of them barely in any armor and weapons that wouldn’t leave dent in what the ponies had. She could even smell the fresh scent of urine behind her. She looked back in front of her as the door slowly opened, revealing Princess Celestia in all her glory. “We’re all going to die,” Nymph whimpered to herself. She trembled with every step as she forced herself to not break eye contact with the alicorn. “P-Princess Celestia! It’s…an honor to have you hear!”

The princess's visit doesn’t seem to be going as well as what we saw in that changeling chapter, huh?

So lastly, there’s another story that’s been brewing in my head for a while, but I have not decided 100% if I actually am going to write it. The idea was created from this picture because it is goddam adorable.

Makes your heart melt, doesn’t it? It will most likely just be a one shot (likely with usual chapter length) through the perspective of one of Chrysalis’s children with a (probably) unique look at her brood with how they live and interact with one another, as if they actually saw each as a family. Almost no fic does this, so I thought it would be interesting to try. Tell me what you think of that idea.

That’s all I got for now. Sorry about the waiting. To pass the time, I suggest looking at all the fics I got favorited. I rarely hit that star button, so these are fics I really feel are worth reading. You might end up favoriting them, too. You could also check out the Rage Review group.
