So.... I have some depressing news.

Yeah, so I found this out a few days ago, but only got enough time to make this blog today. I'm writing this blog post as a way of coping with the news.

If any of you live within the Stillwater, Oklahoma region of America or anywhere subsequently nearby, then you may have heard of the "Stillwater Sword Murder" that occurred about three or so days ago. To sum up what happened, two younger individuals and their brothers had gotten together to form a band, and were splitting rent for a house. One day, two of them got into a fight about witchcraft and Christianity, and the "Christian" of the two grabbed a sword and nearly completely beheaded the other. Why is this depressing news for me? Well... I knew the guy who got killed. He was a friend of mine, Jacob Crockett. He and his brother Jessie were both really good friends of mine when I was still in the Stillwater High School. The "Witchcraft" debate that started the fight that ended in his death was most likely regarding the theme of their band, which was a heavy metal band that they had told me about two years ago.

So in more recent news, It's had me kinda bummed out. I won't go into further details, but if you want to you can go ahead and look it up on Google, or find the Facebook page dedicated to the memory of Jacob. I would put more on here, but I feel that telling everyone about my personal drivel would be an insult to his memory.

To Jacob, if you can see this from where you are, rest in peace my friend. You had earned it more than anyone else I know, even before this tragic event took your life.
